Scott has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and health care sectors, encompassing roles in operations, engineering, finance, marketing, sales, general management, and as business owner.
Professional History Prior to joining GGG, Mr. Brann acquired a failing home health care company in 2005 that he has since grown into a regional, multi-location business utilizing internet marketing strategies and web-based operational efficiency tools.
From 1998 to 2005, Scott was engaged by the founder of a struggling manufacturing company as company president to revitalize the business and manage a generational transition. During the next seven years, company sales tripled and EBITDA increased at >30% AAGR. This growth occurred in the face of challenging economic and customer turmoil. Mr. Brann led this successful turnaround by implementing product rationalization, lean manufacturing, and developing new markets/applications. A $30 million expansion was funded out of operating cash flow, requiring no debt.
Prior to 1998, Scott held marketing and finance positions with BFGoodrich and Imerys, as well as engineering and research positions with DuPont early in his career.
