Murray Cohen - Delray, FL |
Murray Cohen has extensive financial and general management
experience in branded consumer products and services, including soft
drinks, juices, foods and food service, wines, electronics and garden
products. His accomplishments include leading the internal merger and
acquisitions department for The Coca-Cola Company, where he managed
over $2 billion in domestic and global transactions.
While at Coke, Murray served as president of internal operating units
with revenues of $25 to $100 million. He was successful in turnaround
assignments in international and foodservice beverage units. He
completed his tenure there as chief financial officer for the Company's
profitable $200 million juice and drinks operating division in Canada.
Following his career at Coca-Cola, Murray served as a financial
turnaround advisor to a $200 million national consumer lawn and garden
products manufacturer, where he assisted in a successful leveraged
re-financing, managed the divestiture of a foreign operation and served
as interim chief financial officer.
Recently he completed an assignment as interim chief financial officer
and financial adviser for publicly-held $170 million revenue branded
consumer audio electronics manufacturer, where he directed a strategic
turnaround and restored credibility with the company’s asset-based
lender.
Murray holds a Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering and a Masters
in industrial management from Georgia Tech, and has a Masters in
accounting from Georgia State University. He has been licensed as a
Certified Public Accountant and completed the strategic marketing
executive program at Harvard Business School. In 2000, Murray joined
GGG as a principle and was accepted as partner of the firm in 2004. He
and his wife Helene reside in Delray Beach, Florida.
